“The North Star” movie trailer was released. Don’t let the trailer quality fool you. I was right there standing directly next to the cinematographer, Keiko Nakahara, for pretty much every shot and this could be a much better film than the trailer depicts.

“The North Star” post-production just still might be getting their feet under them, but I am sure the trailer will change as this movie will probably make a long festival and screening run on it’s way to distribution at some point.

This period piece about slavery has a good story and was able to put together a strong cast Jeremiah Trotter, John Diehl, Lynn Whitfield, Keith David, Douglas Gibson, Thomas C. Bartley Jr. and one of my local favorites Christopher Mann.
